Seventeen year old Drana Sumi has been born to decide the fate of the world of Anatsria. Half-Human, Half-Demon, she is the one born to represent both worlds in the ultimate decision: the joining. She is the Gatekeeper.
The Alliance of Gods seeks to prevent the merger, and has invested its power into two people; Yu, a powerful Rihdarian Princess, and Aidan, the last descendant of the God of Justice, in order to reach Drana. Guiding them in their duties is Watcher Reb, a mysterious man who seems to have been granted eternal life.
Drana has one-hundred days to decide the fate of the two worlds, and both sides will do anything to win her over.
PROLOGUE
Before the world existed, and before the Gods and Goddesses that would rule the world were created, the all-father, RI, had long been present in the Universe. In an un-named and empty space, he created his first child, the Goddess Ria, and the world Anatsria, which would be her playground. Ria in turn created playmates to amuse her, and named them thus: Humans, Demons, Astarians, Rihdah, Wind-Talkers, Were-creatures, Vampires and Mellows. Her favourites became the Were-creatures, Humans that involuntarily took on the forms of animals when she willed it so. They were different from Humans in many ways, and she delighted in watching the interactions between them and the Humans, who could not detect them in their midst.
Ria’s favourite creatures were rejected by the other races. Demons, Vampires and Weres, all races that were few in numbers, were outcast and persecuted. As the Human and Mellow races grew rapidly they grew close to exterminating their enemies.
One of the younger Goddesses, Manadeera, took pity on the feared creatures, and took them out of the world to her own realm. She swore that one day these creatures would have their time, and overwhelm the world of Anatsria.
